did you know...

. . . that there is a worm in the dirt in the germ on the flea on the hair on the wart on the frog on the bump on the log on the hole in the bottom of the sea?

Didn't think so.

Didn't know that. But did you know that the Preacher all shaven and shorn, married the man all tattered and torn to the maiden all forlorn, that milked the cow with the crumpled horn, that tossed the dog, that worried the cat, that killed the rat that ate the malt that lay in the house that Jack built.

I may actually (albeit vaguely) have known that once upon a time!

I've been teaching this to Jake, but he just doesn't get why all that junk is important to me or why it should be to him.

I'm glad to see it's important to yoU!

I sang this to Jordan the other day. Ten minutes after my non-stop singing the best she could come up with was...

"That's a LONG song!"

She has asked me to sing the "hole" song a few times since then. It's a toss-up between this one and "there's a hole in my bucket." She tried to run away near the end of that one, but I made her stay and listen and at the end when Liza tells Henry to fetch water in the bucket I said "But...." and looked at Jordan expectantly and she came up with "There's a hole in the bucket!!" all on her own. I was never so proud. lol.

That's pretty impressive that she came up with "there's a hole in the bucket"! So cute. It amazes me sometimes at how much they actually do pay attention.

I find it funny that the shortest little nothing-post gets the most comments!
